Advisory Board
The voluntary expert members of the Advisory
Board support Fair Stone by monitoring the standard according to
balanced criterias and raising public awareness.

Steering Group
To
improve the governance structure of Fair Stone, a Steering
Group was set up. The Steering Group monitors the
implementation of Fair Stone and takes all major decisions,
which concern label and standard, by consensus.
The members of the Steering Group are:
- Walter
Riester, former Federal Secretary of Labour as
representative of the employees
- Klaus Mai,
Architect as representative of the natural stone
customers
- Reiner Krug,
CEO of "Deutscher Natursteinverband" (DNV)
as representative of the natural stone industry
- Heinecke
Werner, consultant of WiN=WiN as expert on social and
environmental standards in developing countries
